Courvoisier x Roots #tracingflavors

Project Details

I conceptualized the Roots Tracing Flavors concept to amplify the importance of cultural heritage. We grounded this event in the belief that a knowledge of one's history is vital to identity, humanity, and cultural pride.

Event sponsor Courvoisier provided pairing cocktails for executive chef Andre Nieves’ seven-course menu. Chef Andre’s dishes were inspired by the African and Caribbean impact on the culinary industry.



GOAL.

To position Courvoisier as the drink of choice to target consumers in Houston, TX.

HOW.

  • Invited well-known local community members in TX to experience a one of a kind dinner / tasting menu designed to highlight the flavor of Courvoisier
  • Provided attendees with a Courvoisier gift set
  • Produced content for social media campaign
  • Garnered organic social media impressions from attendees during and after the event

IMPACT THROUGH EVENT / CAMPAIGN.

  •  Authenticated Courvoisier among key community members in the Houston metro area
  • Established a sense of brand trust and partnership through the telling of culturally relevant stories
