In recognition of Black History Month, I created the CoolxHistory campaign to celebrate the creative expression and experiences of Black Americans in Houston

GOAL.

To develop an annual campaign for CoolxDad that will educate, impact, and inspire African-American and Latino communities by promoting and celebrating their unique local and national cultural contributions.

HOW.

IMPACT.

  • Grounded CoolxDad as a key community organization in the Houston metro area
  • Established the CoolxHistory campaign
  • Centered the historic contributions of Black Americans while supporting the ongoing work of Black creatives
  • Connected creatives and fostered trust in CoolxDad’s mission in the Houston community
  • Integrated CoolxHistory with Hennessy’s national “Never Stop, Never Settle” series
